Police are investigating a truck crash near Tauriko.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on Whakakake Street, near Hotohoto Street, at 6.15am.

A police spokesperson says two trucks were involved.

They say there are no significant injuries.

"The road was blocked and tows have been called.

"The police's commercial vehicle safety team has been advised and is in the way."
