A person has received minor injuries following an fight incident in Welcome Bay.

Emergency services responded to an incident on Saturday morning where a person was reported to be injured.

"The injured person suffered a minor injury to their wrist, which appears to have occurred when they had a fight with someone," says a Police spokesperson.

Earlier, SunLive readers observed many Police cars and ambulance travelling along Welcome Bay to the scene.

11.39AM UPDATE:

Emergency services are responding to an incident in Welcome Bay where a person has been injured.

"Police are responding after a person arrived at a family member's house with injuries," says a Police spokesperson.

"Police are speaking to the person to establish how the injuries were sustained."
