What's on today?

On display in The People's Gallery - Toi ka rere until September 11 is the Tauranga Girls College Annual Exhibition - Artful Wahine. A range of students from Tauranga Girls College are showing their own original artworks with any subject in any medium.This exhibition is about participation and the opportunity to display their artwork in a safe and supportive environment. Open 10am-3pm weekdays and 10am-2pm weekends.

There will be a parade at Mount Maunganui from 12pm - 12.45pm to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Falun Dafa Day. The parade will go along Grace Ave, Marine Parade, Adams Ave and Maunganui Road ending up at Mount Mainstreet. One lane of the road will be used by parade participants which includes the Falun Dafa Waist Drummers and Falun Dafa Dragon Dance Team. Following the parade will be a variety of performances, demonstrations and storytelling at Te Papa o Nga Porotakataka (the urban space in Mount Mainstreet previously known as Phoenix carpark).

Come and support a Giant Garage Sale at the Welcome Bay Hall from 10am - 4pm. All proceeds from the garage sale go to support local community projects.
