Traffic delays are being reported following reports of a crash near Bethlehem.

A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a vehicle has crashed into the barrier on State Highway 2, near the Moffat Road roundabout.

"One lane heading towards Tauranga is blocked.

"People should expect delays."

According to Google live traffic reporting, traffic is stalled in the area.

A police spokesperson says they received a report of a single vehicle crash on SH2 were a vehicle has collided with the barrier.

"One lane of the road is blocked and traffic management is in place.

"The sole occupant of the vehicle has minor injuries."
