One person is in custody following a crash on Gloucester Road, Mount Maunganui at 6.20pm this evening, according to a police spokesperson.
"Police received a report of a crash involving two vehicles on Gloucester Road, Mount Maunganui," says the police spokesperson.
"Police and ambulance attended, two person[s] are reported to have been injured.
"Police took one person in to custody and inquiries in to the circumstances of the crash are continuing."
