A person has died following a crash in the Bay of Plenty.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Lake Road, Rotorua, at 6.45am on Wednesday, July 27.
A police spokesperson says the person was seriously injured after their car crashed with a tree.
"They passed away on July 28.
"Our thoughts are with their family and loved ones.
"Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing."
