A person has been flown to Waikato Hospital after a traffic incident at the Karangahake Gorge.
The traffic incident left one person seriously injured, and another person with moderate injuries, says a St John spokesperson.
St John attended the scene just after 1pm on Sunday.
A spokesperson says one person is in a serious condition and was taken by helicopter to Waikato Hospital, while the second person was treated at the scene.
