A vehicle has crashed into a power pole in Te Puna.

Police were called to a single-vehicle crash on Te Puna Road about 7.50pm where a car hit a pole.

"There's no current indication on injuries but both parties are out of the vehicle," says a Police spokesperson.

"The power company has been notified to attend to the lines [which are] stretched, not down."

An ambulance and tow company have also been called to the scene.
