UPDATE 7.01AM: The driver of a car that crashed with a tree on State Highway 29 is reported to be uninjured.
Emegergncey services were called to the crash on SH29, near its intersection with Gargan Road, at 6.35am.
A police spokesperson says they received a report of a car crashing with a tree after it had come down on the southbound lane of the road.
"It appears to be between Gargan Road and Redwood Lane.
"Fortunately the driver is reported to be uninjured.
"A member of the public has just arrived with a chainsaw to assist with removing the tree."
Motorists are advised to expect delays until the scene is cleared.

Traffic delays are being reported on State Highway 29.
According to Google's live traffic reporting, traffic is delays on the highway near its intersection with Gargan Road, in the Tauriko area.
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says a tree is blocking the Matamata bound lane of the highway.
"Emergency services are at the scene.
"People should expect delays until the tree is cleared."
