There has been a single vehicle crash on SH36/Pyes Pa Rd, Ngawaro.

The crash was reported to Police just after 9.15am.

"The slow lane is blocked as a result," says a Police spokesperson.

"We have no details on any injuries - but there is nothing to suggest there are serious injuries."

The crash is understood to be in the Mangorewa Kaharoa Gorge.
