Two people have received moderate injuries following a crash on State Highway 2 near Katikati say Police.
Police report that a two car crash occurred on SH2 near Rea Road.
Motorists are advised that traffic is down to one lane.
"Traffic still slow but moving in alternate lanes," says a SunLive reader.
"There is a Police officer on site. Ambulance seems to have been and gone.
"A Ute with a badly damaged front is being moved onto a tow truck."

A SunLive reader is reporting a vehicle crash near Katikati on Saturday morning.
"It's on State Highway 2 near the Tetley Road and Rea Road intersection.
"Traffic is building up in both directions."
Emergency services are reported to be at the scene.
