UPDATE 7.55AM: At least one person is reported to have serious injuries following a crash in the Bay of Plenty.
Emergency services were called to a crash on State Highway 33, near Paengaroa, just before 7.30am.
A police spokesperson says two vehicles have crashes 3km south of Allport Road.
"One person appears to have serious injuries.
"Traffic management will be in place."

Motorists are being advised to use an alternative route following a crash on State Highway 33 in the Bay of Plenty.
Emergency services are on the way to a two-car crash on SH33, between Te Puke and Rotorua.
A Tauranga City Council spokesperson says the crash is 3km south of Allport Road.
"Emergency services are in route. Expect delays.
"Consider using alternate route. Exercise caution when passing scene."
