UPDATE 10.38AM: Minor injuries are being reported in a crash in the Western Bay of Plenty this morning.

A police spokesperson says they were called to a single vehicle crash on Omanawa Road around 10am.

"The vehicle is reported to have crashed into a bank.

"One person reported to have minor injuries."

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the crash.

It is reported to be open again but there may be traffic delays for a short time.

Omanawa Road in the Lower Kaimai are is reportedly closed following a crash.
