Two vehicles have crashed on State Highway 2 near Paengaroa.

A SunLive reader at the scene has reported that the crash is near the Te Puke Golf Club on SH2.

Police say they received a report of a collision involving two vehicles on SH2, Paengaroa near Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road at 3.30pm.

"An ambulance was not required to attend the scene and all occupants are out of their vehicles with no reported injuries," says a Police spokesperson.

"The cars are blocking the road but are due to be towed shortly."
