A motorcyclist has received moderate injuries following a crash near Paengaroa.

Police report they were called about 5.10pm to Maketu Road, between Te Tumu and Kelly Roads, following a report of a person coming off their motorbike.

Police says that the person appears to have sustained moderate injuries.
