Two people have been taken to Tauranga Hospital following a vehicle collision in Ohauiti.
Police received a report at 5.40pm that a single vehicle collided with a powerpole on Ohauiti Road.
"Emergency services attended and two people were transported to Tauranga Hospital, one of whom was described as having moderate injuries," says a Police spokesperson.
The status of the second person is unknown at this stage.
Police say that there is no indication that the road is blocked, however motorists should expect delays while emergency services attend the incident.
