The Greerton Village yarnbombing concert has had to be cancelled today due to weather.

It's Mahy Magic at Baycourt this afternoon with poems and stories by beloved NZ writer, Margaret Mahy, are set to music by award-winning composer Philip Norman. Be entertained by narrative and interactive performances from New Zealander's Georgia Jamieson Emms and Robert Tucker.

The Canvas Tauranga Careers Expo is on today at Trustpower Baypark from 9am – 3pm. Come and find out about trades, university, courses, and careers.

Tauranga Dance is holding their TDI Championship Weekend at Tauranga Boys' College. The Championship Weekend offers modern and tap genres as well as the popular inclusive dance class open to anyone in the community living with a disability who would not otherwise enter the competition classes.

Baycourt will be ringing out music from the Opus Orchestra today as the ‘Made for Opus: Composer Encounters' event is held at 5pm. This interactive concert will appeal to all those keen to meet some of NZ's most respected composers and the Opus musicians.
