A car has crashed into a power pole on Wilson Road North, Paengaroa.

Police were notified at 8:46am of the crash which involves one vehicle and a power pole, says a police spokesperson.

Police arrived at the scene at 9:09am and there are no details of injuries at this stage, they say.

It is unknown whether there is a power outage in the area.
