A sad saga

Listening to the opinion of people on Labour spending $200 million plus on feeding children in school comes forth with this.

Parents should be feeding them and caring properly. If they do not care they should be prosecuted and or educated. Most living things are very protective of their young.

The taxpayer should not have to shoulder the bill for every slack parent who couldn't care less, and they should not be receiving benefits for doing nothing.

Children who see this situation will themselves repeat this situation on and on to generations forever.

Labour knows well that they are only compounding this sad saga but will do anything including spending your money to get elected.

Some have had no employment for generations. Why bother when Labour gives everything for doing nothing.

Are some organisations who supply food really necessary in NZ or are they just making lazy people worse?

Good hard working tax payers money being wasted on lazy parents who don't want to take responsibility for their own kids. 100% agree with R Chamberlain. K Smith

Parents not feeding their children is a form of child abuse. Let's make a list of kids needing to be fed, exempt the parents who genuinely need the help and charge the others with child abuse. K Smith
