The annual Ballance Farm Environment Awards ceremony celebrates sustainable farming practice.
The awards celebrate the achievements of entrants of the Bay of Plenty farming community who are working towards sustainability. The ceremony showcases the properties of the finalists and gives some background into their lives, their goals, and their sustainable farming practices, says Bay of Plenty regional coordinator Kirsten Winter.
