It was of much interest to hear and read of the developments within the City Council at their inaugural meeting, (which was, apparently, somewhat of a fiasco) and the strong support that has emerged for Councillor Andrew Hollis (7500 votes?)
This would seem to comprehensively undermine the stated opinions of the new Mayor, and his understudy, that Hollis should resign, because of his views.
In view of this development, it could be wise for the newly revamped councillor's to take this into account in their future deliberations.
