Police report that there has been an armed robbery in Tauranga on Friday evening.
"A report was received just after 7.35pm of a male entering a dairy on Levers Rd armed with a weapon," says a Police spokesperson.
"He took cash, and left the scene."
There are no reports of injuries.
Police are in the area and are making further enquiries.
