Last Friday I went to Pak'nSave to buy watercress. When I put it on the counter at the checkout—behind the large order of the customer in front of me — he picked it up and put it with his purchases.
I said ‘hey that's mine' - 'yes I know” he said, 'I thought I'd buy it for you”.
So I said ‘Well it is nice to know there are still some gentlemen left in the world!' and he said 'Madame, it's a pleasure to do that for a nice looking young lady like you”. A real compliment for one who is nearly 80!
