Morning commuters are reporting massive traffic delays on State Highway 2 this morning.
A SunLive reader messaged us on Facebook to says traffic is crawling from Omokoroa Road to Bethlehem,
"Horrid backlog of traffic this morning.
"Would suggest avoiding if possible."
A caller to the 0800 SUNLIVE news hotline says traffic is backed-up as far as the Apata Coolstores.
SunLive has received reports of a crash near the Bethlehem Road roundabout this morning.

Increase the speed limit

Increase the speed limit on this stretch of road from crawling to 90. To do that though, will mean the Government and NZTA building a 4 lane road!!

TCC policy of narrowing roads by adding cycle and bus lanes and other ridiculous ideas like the multitude of stuff ups we see in Greerton, all this in the country's fastest growing city.
