Thousands of people have flocked to the Tauranga Racecourse for the 116^th Tauranga A&P Show.

Sheep shearing and dog shows were among the many forms of entertainment offered on the day.

Organisers of the event say the show would not have been possible without people volunteering their time to help run the event.
