Making workplaces healthier

Toi te Ora Public Health has launched a new online wellness management system to help keep Western Bay of Plenty workers healthy.
The launch of the online tool was at Tauranga Yacht and Powerboat Club, Wednesday 10am.


Satara Health and Safety Officer Angela Healy, Te Puke College Principal Alan Liddle and Toi te Ora Public Health Services regional manager Graeme Savage.

Public Health regional manager Graeme Savage says 'WorkWell' enables workplaces to have access to free professional support.
He says it has been designed to be simple, yet effective with step-by-step guidance provided in the form of online tools, manuals and resources.
Toi te Ora's health promotion manager, Jen Murray, says WorkWell is designed to enrich employees' physical, mental, emotional, occupational and spiritual wellbeing
"The WorkWell management system is based on the best international accreditation schemes and is adapted to meet the needs of New Zealand business."

Rob this is not about left or right politics its about common sense, good business and giving individuals the best environment to make their own choices- maybe you shouldn t have got out of bed at all!
