Dial-up s just not cutting it

A growing necessity in day-to-day life is reliable internet access and this is something noted by Bay of Plenty wireless broadband provider Enternet Online.
People have been buying into properties in the Western Bay of Plenty expecting to be able to work either full time or part time from home, says EOL managing director Terry Coles.

'We end up getting called – sometimes by the real estate agent, sometimes by the seller,” says Terry.
A big growth area for wireless broadband is in new sub division developments like The Lakes at Tauriko, which are being built without broadband being available.
'Most don't have broadband for the first two years, it's all dial up,” says Terry.
EOL has moved into this market after being heavily involved in the Bay of Plenty rural sector.
When the security of a couple of million dollars worth of crop is dependent on those links you need to have absolutely rock solid communications, says Terry.
EOL has achieved strong customer satisfaction results from this work and was recently named the number one internet service provider in this field by Consumer magazine. It achieved a rating of 100 per cent from the survey, something never before achieved by an ISP in the survey's 15 year history.
