Just flabbergasted

Re: ‘Lots of love for our cycleways’ The Weekend Sun, November 30. I was flabbergasted to read in this newspaper of M Murray Benges’ statement that she and fellow WBOPDC councillors were eagerly awaiting the swift completion of the cycleway/walkway for the tourist industry. That statement clearly indicates that tourists are rated higher than residents.

The accidents that have occurred locally are partly due to the inadequacy of State Highway 2 and the poor decision-making of the authorities. They must share some of the blame.
