RE: R Paterson’s letter ‘Peddling trouble’, The Weekend Sun, December 14. I agree with R Paterson’s letter. This is unbelievably criminal what Winston Peters and Jacinda Ardern want to sign up too.
If they agree to sign this ‘Global Migration Compact agreement’ they go against all the people who voted for them, who were promised this would not happen!
This is just giving away our sovereignty wholesale, allowing who knows what to come into our country and play havoc. All immigration should be stopped now.
Our infrastructure cannot cope with any more, our roads are gridlocked. State Highway 2 here in the Bay of Plenty is the most dangerous in the country, yet the government say they don’t have the money to fix it.
Why not if all this immigration is so great for our country and brings money in? Never mind sign an agreement that allows every criminal and car bomber in without our approval.
Even the tourist industry is starting to groan under the strain, honestly our infrastructure cannot take anymore, never mind we NZ people. Australia, Britain and the US have said ‘no’, shouldn’t that tell you something?
Is the Government being blackmailed by the UN, because this is globalisation and agenda 2023 at its worst!
This country was always known for standing up for our rights, so start showing some initiative – urgently – and say ‘No!’
C Humphreys, Katikati.
