One person has received moderate injuries following a crash near Welcome Bay.

A police media spokesperson says emergency services have been called to the scene at Welcome Bay Road where a van has rolled.

"Police were called to reports of a van rolled down a bank on Welcome Bay Road at 1.49pm.

"Fire and Ambulance were also called to the incident.

"The sole occupant of the van was reported to be moderately injured."
