Budding students invited to info sessions

The University of Waikato is hosting a series of Information Sessions in Tauranga from next week.

Future Student Advisers will offer guidance on all aspects of undergraduate study at both the Hamilton and Tauranga University of Waikato campuses.

'They're a great opportunity to confirm paper selections, discuss scholarships, costs, student lifestyle, the transition from high school, and support available for undergraduate study,” says the university in a media release.

'Anyone interested in university study is encouraged to get along to one of our upcoming drop in information sessions:

  • Tuesday, 30 October, 11-4pm, Maharaia Building, Windermere Campus, 70 Windermere Drive, Windermere, Tauranga
  • Tuesday, 13 November, 11-4pm, Maharaia Building, Windermere Campus, 70 Windermere Drive, Windermere, Tauranga
  • Tuesday, 27 November, 11-4pm, Maharaia Building, Windermere Campus, 70 Windermere Drive, Windermere, Tauranga
  • Wednesday, 12 December, 3-7pm, Ground Floor, University of Waikato Building, 142 Durham Street, Tauranga CBD

In early 2019, the University of Waikato is opening a new campus in the heart of Tauranga City.

The University is leading the development on behalf of the Bay of Plenty Tertiary Education Partnership, comprised of the University of Waikato, Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi, and Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology.

The Tauranga Campus will unite the University's network of campuses across the Bay and enhance its growing range of qualifications available to students.
