A 57-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a Bay of Plenty woman.
The murder charge has been laid by police in the Hamilton District Court on Friday, says police in a media statement.
"The man did not appear in court.
"A team of detectives continue to work on the case, and we want to thank those members of the public who have assisted police with information so far."
