All day strike at courts + VID

Public Service Association industrial action at the Ministry of Justice has intensified in the Bay of Plenty with workers going on strike from 10am-5pm.
This comes after several weeks of on/off strikes for periods of firstly one hour and then two hours at a time.

Public Service Association organiser Barry Jones talks with SunLive about the progress of pay negotiations. See video interview below.

Industrial action was first taken by union members on October 14 when they began working to rule in protest against how the median wage for Ministry of Justice PSA union is far below the public service median.
In the Bay, the strike is causing some disruption to the courts system with the action taking place at Tauranga, Whakatane, Opotiki and Waihi.
