Tauranga City Councillor Murray Guy intends being part of Saturday's motorcycle rally opposing the increase in ACC levies.
'Proposals by government to date clearly indicate fairness and equity does not factor into their thinking processes,” says Murray.

'It's better to secure a contribution from those who derive significant benefit from ACC but pay little or nothing, before increasing the levels on those already paying their fair share.”
Murray will be riding the rally on his Triumph Bonneville America.
'Motorcycling is a recreational pursuit for many owners, just as rugby, cycling and soccer are.
'If taxpayers didn't have to pay for Mr Hide's and other MP's recreational pursuits and love life, there might be more resources to direct to ACC.”
