A car has been removed from the water after going into the estuary near Fraser St.
A police media spokesperson says the incident happened just before 5.30.
"Emergency services received a report of a car in the estuary on Fraser St.
"It appears the driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle."
No one appears to be injured and a tow truck has removed the vehicle from the estuary.
