Good morning SunLive readers and welcome to another Saturday.
It's officially the second weekend of winter and, I hope I'm not alone in my thinking but, I think you can definitely feel that's the case in the air.
So what is one to do when it's cold outside, and the air out there chills you right through to your bones?
Rug up of course!
If you fancy it, there is a fantastic event going down in Papamoa today, where you find a way to beat the chill.
Today is World Knit in Public/Learn to knit day and we're celebrating it right here in the Bay of Plenty.
Head along to the Driftwood Room at Gordon Spratt Reserve Clubrooms in Papamoa from 10am-noon to get amongst the action and make yourself a bunch of warm woollies to get through winter.
It's an introduction to knitting brought to you by the Papamoa Sunset Women's Institute.
In case you aren't quite so much of a whizz on knitting needles then why not dance or sing away the chills.
There's a bunch of different singing and dancing events happening around the city today that are bound to get you all warmed up.
