Listening to jazz while enjoying the afternoon seems to be the way many people in Tauranga have chosen to spend their afternoon.

Hundreds of people gathered at the Tauranga Waterfront Park for the Big Band Bonanza.

The bonanza is marks the last day of the 56th National Jazz Festival.

While many people were tuned into the jazz, some children were taken the time to enjoy a refreshing dip in the water.
