Good morning all, and welcome to Saturday, for many - the second of four days off.
Because most of you are in holiday-mode at the moment, we thought it'd be valuable to send out a timely reminder to set your clocks back an hour before you head to bed tonight.
Daylight Savings comes to an end tomorrow, and while it may already officially be over according to the calendar, this really is does set in stone the end too, to summer. To quote Shihad, it's time to "put your clocks back, for the Winter".
However it isn't all doom and gloom because there is a festival kicking off today (and running tomorrow as well) which will make you feel as though summer has no end.
The coveted Downtown Carnival kicks off from midday on the Strand and Tauranga waterfront.
Grab your dancing shoes and break out the fancy dress, because the two-day festival is set to be an afternoon and evening to remember.
It's just one of many fantastic events that are part of the 56th National Jazz Festival.
Event director Craig Wilson says it's always popular.
'We get anywhere between 8000-12,000 people each day, depending on the weather, so it should be a cracker weekend.”
The event comes with some road closures and it's a gold coin donation to attend, so if you're needing to find out more information about traffic, parking or further event details, visit the Jazz Festival website.
Incase that's not your idea of a good time, make sure to check out what else is on around the city today.
