Tauranga City Council is holding a by-election in April for one at large position on Council.

Nominations for candidates in the upcoming by-election close at 12pm on Monday, 5 March.

"You must have your nominations in by the deadline," says Warwick Lampp, Tauranga City Council Electoral Officer.

'We are unable to accept any late nominations. I urge prospective candidates to get their forms in on Friday, or at the latest 12 noon Monday, 5 March.”

And remember: don't forget to enrol, you need to be enrolled to vote.

If you own a property in Tauranga but live outside of the area, you are also eligible to vote www.elections.org.nz .
