Good morning Sunners! And get ready for some loud and exciting events on this sunny Saturday.

First up is the second day of the Link ECU D1NZ National Drifting Championship where it will be an action-packed of D1NZ National Drifting Championship racing, New Zealand's Rally X Series jumping in and out of the stadium, the new UTV series, Super Moto and plenty of other entertainment.

The race will feature more than 120 professional drivers across all categories including local, national and international drivers.

The layout of the BayPark curcuit has also been custom-built and includes a concrete track for the drift cars and a separate dirt track for UTV, motorbikes and rally vehicles, which extends just over a kilometre outside the track and features jumps and hills.

The event runs from 9am-10pm at BayPark on 81 Truman Lane, Mount Maunganui. For more information on tickets including cost and availability visit the D1NZ website.

Roll up. Roll up. Roll up! Next on the agenda is The Extravaganza Fair at Marine Park, Sulphur Point.

From today and tomorrow, 9am-5pm Tauranga will be visited by New Zealand's largest and newest travelling fair.

The Extravaganza Fair will feature a unique style of stalls, arts and craft, food, musical entertainment, circus shows, performers, and tiny homes.

There will be old school games for kids and big kids to enjoy, such as sack races, tug of wars and musical bean bags, with prizes to be won.

Kids can also enjoy face painting and hair braiding, spin art and candle dipping, paint your own ceramic mould to take home, a Pedal Powered Merry go Round and Tropical Island Bouncy fun, plus a vertical bungee.

If you're a real foodie the fair will also have you covered. There will be a Steampunk Food Truck - Dickinson's Gastronomic Emporium, Lucky's Fresh Juice Joint and Havana Coffee Works, and little 'fair' indulgence such as tasty American hotdog, doughnuts, candy floss, grannies homemade fudge, soft serve ice cream.

Throughout the day there will be a range of talented musicians and performers:

- The Karl Austin Experience

- Ashton Family Circus

- Hoola Hoop Show by Summer Spins as seen on NZ's Got Talent

- Magic Show by Dylan Daisy

- Gypsta Tricksta Kids Show

- Tug of War, Musical Bean Bags and Sack Races

- Open mic (4pm-5pm)
