What's on in the Bay today

A golden sunrise this morning

Good morning Bay residents, and what a morning it is!

If you were up early enough you might have seen a gorgeous golden orange sunrise across the Bay.

Metservice is predicting a high of 27 degrees today, with nothing but sunshine. Might be a good day to pack a picnic and take a leisurely drive to one of the great beaches we have in this part of the world.

If you do feel like getting out and about, Sport Bay of Plenty is still running their Magisto Moment competition.

Simply download the app, create a short clip of your adventure and send it to Sport Bay of Plenty and you're in the draw to win some great prizes! More information can be found here.

If you're feeling a more chilled, relaxed vibe this Auckland Anniversary Day, pop up a sunchair, grab a glass of water and read a book.

Or, read below and see what's on in the Bay today, but no matter what you're doing, if you're outside today don't forget to protect yourself!
