Mount Mainstreet is full of Christmas cheer this weekend with Santa Claus visiting both Saturday and Sunday.
Located at Phoenix Carpark outside the Mount Mainstreet office, Santa and his elf helper greeted children on Saturday morning with presents and a chat about what they'd like in their Christmas stocking.
Along the street the Inspire Education Community Choir delighted shoppers with singing carols accompanied by guitarist Sean Embling.
This morning the Sunday market is underway with stalls and last minute buys available. Local cafes are also getting in the festive mood.
Santa will be there in his big purple chair again today from 11am to 2.30pm looking forward to meeting and greeting all children.
This is one of his favourite places to stop because not only will he get to hear what children want for Christmas, but he also gets a welcome change from riding his reindeer sleigh.
On Saturday Santa enjoyed a ride with children in the Pepi Toot train which is out again today providing Christmas rides starting from Salisbury Ave.
It's a fun opportunity to come take your child's photo with Santa, go for a train ride and he may even have a little something from his Santa sack too.
