Wearable art creations are being showcased at Brookfield Primary School with its Room 11 students modelling their creations today for the first time.
Teacher Carol Burborough says they have spent a term working on the creations.
Student Natasha Preece models her wooden dress on the catwalk. See video interview below with teacher Carol Burborough talking about the wearable art project.
'The children have basically made costumes out of junk, things they otherwise would've thrown out.”
Carol says today's parade marks the completion of a class project looking at ways to protect the environment.

Brookfield Primary School student Leo Bicknell showcases his wearable art creation.
'We had a whole theme of caring for the environment and this (the parade) was part of that, looking after our rubbish and not wasting things.”
She says the students came up with a variety of creations including: aquarium man, warriors, and some choosing to make clothes resembling their national dress.
