Boobs on Bikes participant, New Zealand porn star Lisa Lewis, says the procession through Tauranga was a smoothly run event with everyone paid the necessary respect.

Lisa Lewis' revving performance on this dirt bike was one of the features of Boobs on Bikes through central Tauranga.

In a letter to SunLive, she writes:

‘Where was the Mayor? Typical, not there to front up to what he disagreed with.

Like the typical computer users that are happy to hide behind a computer screen in online forums and speak negativity, but when it came down to it – even though I was in the parade, I respected the individuals that were also about freedom of speech and act and stood there with their signs.

‘Just like me they too were there in support of what they believed in at that point in time. No-one was hurt. No-one was injured. It attracted people into the city. Spenders to the restaurants and shops – hey money is what makes the world go round – if anything next year the Mayor should be there to get his topless hug from me and any others – for bringing the people together regardless of their different opinions.
