Gates open for Fieldays

The biggest agribusiness show in Australasia starts today at the Mystery Creek Events Centre near Hamilton and this year's is expected to attract about 120,000 people.

Fieldays is a major international event attracting farmers from across the world to see what the latest agri-products and science advancements are.

At this year's Fieldays there are more than 1000 exhibitors across many sectors, including horticulture, machinery, science and dairy.

Each year people from across the Bay of Plenty visit the event and to make attendance easier this year, Bayline Coaches is offering a bus service to get to and from it.

Each day of the event, a bus will depart Wharf Street at 7.30am, stopping at Greerton Caltex at 7.50am, to take people to the event in the Waikato.

The bus will depart the Mystery Creek Events Centre at 3pm to return to Tauranga.

A minimum of eight confirmed passengers each day is needed for the coach to run.
