Top consultants in Tauranga

Two of Harcourts' top three sales consultants working in the company's central region are based in Tauranga.

At the Harcourts end of year awards ceremony held at the Rotorua Convention Centre last week, Bethlehem consultant Steve Godfrey was named the ‘Number Two Sales Consultant' and Sue Hooper from Cherrywood claimed the title of ‘Number Three Sales Consultant'.

Steve Godfrey and Sue Hooper each presented with their award by Harcourts head of real estate operations Australasia Bryan Thomson.

Harcourts Tauranga managing director Simon Martin says the awards are well deserved.

'Steve's win comes on the tail of a period of very hard work in an ever changing marketplace. 'There is a lot of hard graft that goes into being as successful as Steve and with such in depth knowledge of the area it's no wonder his achievements have been recognised,” says Simon.

'What really stands out about Steve is his positivity, couple that with boundless energy, honesty and integrity, Steve is very well respected.”

Simon also speaks well of Number Three Sales Consultant Sue Hooper.

'Sue puts in an incredible amount of time assisting her clients with the right solution for them,” says Simon.

'With 15 years experience in real estate Sue always operates in an extremely ethical manner and always approach clients very considerately.”

Unless they have "receiver" or perhaps "liquidator" after there name, otherwise to be realistic it is of little importance to our city's future.

Many are leaving so less to sell and less to do the selling, so maybe the game is a little easier than before.

Knockers are losers

It is obvious from the spelling mistakes and the comments made by Termite and Thomas Brown that their knowledge and education are sadly lacking! In such a competitive and important industry (which most hard working NZ'ers are involved in ) it is great to see honest, hard workers receive recognition. Dealing with the public is not easy, especially dealing with those who enjoy 'tall poppy' bashing. Instead of success bashing, how about making an effort yourselves... or is the world too unkind to you? Recognition for hard work should be applauded, not sneered at by jealous non achievers!
