Rescue on walking track

The Trustpower TECT Rescue Helicopter was dispatched this morning to a walking track near the Aongatete Lodge.

On the track a 62-year-old Tauranga man had been checking track and river conditions prior to the start of the annual Kaimai Goat event.

The man suffered a serious medical event about 20 minutes' walk from the lodge.

As his condition was deemed to be very serious the rescue helicopter was tasked to fly to the scene.

The chopper brought its Port of Tauranga rescue winch along in order to pluck the seriously ill man from the bush and fly him to Tauranga hospital for treatment.

What a man!!!, now you have nothing more to do, than post inane dribble from your recliner, at least you have got one of your nurses in the rest home to show you how to take off the caps lock, regale your residents in the lounge with your " tough guy" stories, or have they sent you to your room without your pudding, and now we are inundated with your inane rambling, how the hell do you know what status the patient was in.

my brother or the " energiser bunny" you are not, we all have been through many adversities in life, this site is a news medium, not a direct line to "Dr Phill", so make your point and stick with the programme, and well done with the caps lock thing, hopefully the new medication is helping, cheers and humour is good for you.
