The countdown is on! With one month to go it's time to get your entries in for NZ BBQ King 2015.

'We're in the heat of barbecue season so what better time to celebrate this national competition and win $5000 cash,” says the organisers of the event.

The overall title of ‘NZ BBQ King' where entrants bring their own BBQ's and submit their best BBQ dishes to win over the taste buds of MKR celebrity chefs ‘The Corporate Dads' and ‘The Polynesian Cooks'.

To take out the National title of ‘NZ's BBQ King or Queen', the overall winner must score the most points collectively in the following categories: pork, chicken, salmon and beef, plus a mystery meat competition.

'The celebrity chefs from My Kitchen Rules NZ Josh and Aaron, The Corporate Dads, and Aaron and Heather, The Polynesian Chefs, will be special judges at the event and will also compete in a celebrity cook-off.”

Both teams are highly competitive and keen to take out the cook-off.
