The family of Jesse Dolman are appealing for any information about the 28-year-old who was last seen on Christmas Eve.

Both police and Jesse's family have taken to Facebook in an attempt to help to get any information about the Taranaki man's whereabouts.

Jesse Dolman was last seen on Christmas Eve.

Police say the last contact family had with Jesse was in Stratford when he left a family home around 4pm.

'His family has not heard from him since and are very anxious to make contact with Jesse to make sure he is safe and well,” says a police spokesperson.

Jesse is aged 28, of Maori descent, about 185cm tall and of solid build.

Police are concerned for his state of mind and welfare and advise members of the public to contact them immediately is Jesse is found.

'Do not approach him,” they say.
