A teenager will appear in Tauranga District Court tomorrow after a woman was allegedly raped in her Greerton home earlier this week.

The 18-year-old man is charged with the sexual violation of two women and the assault of a third woman.

Police in a statement say the teen was arrested following the alleged incident in the early hours of Tuesday morning at a Greerton address.

While at the address the teen is accused of raping one woman, and assaulting another woman with a weapon at the same address.

The second charge of the sexual violation of a woman is laid after an incident at a woman's Greerton home on July 4, 2014.

As the matter is before the court there will be no further police comment.
